Surgery vs Changing Your Diet
In my new video I talk about considering the choice to undergo bariatric surgery to lose weight. As a physician, I would not recommend this or the newly FDA approved and entirely gross weight-loss device that sucks food from your stomach. Actually, it’s ironic that the diet you are told to eat after these type of surgeries is effectively the same diet I am telling you to eat before you consider any surgery.
Please do not decide to staple, add a band, or a place hole in your stomach. If you can commit to a diet change after the surgery, why not commit to it now—and save yourself months of wasted time, energy, and money and the risks of an operation.
